5月8日,伊莱克斯初次上门安装,时隔今日,已经是20天,这20天本该可以做多少事情,但是伊莱克斯连油烟机伸长管的安装都迟迟无法做到。
在多次打电话到服务热线无果的情况下,我只能写信至他们总部了,给他们全球的CEO。但是今天还是未果。我会继续到底。
Dear Mr. Straberg,
I feel so upset to directly write to you to seek the help to settle my bothering and anger with Elextrolux’s service in Shanghai, China which should not be happen. I know you should not be the person to handling so detailed business issues, but I would really appreciate your patience to read my complain and worry as well about the service disaster of Eletrolux’s in China.
I knew Electrolux early in 2000 when my parents has changed their refrigerate to Electrolux, I thought it is a good brand with good products. This year I am decorating my house and choosing the household appliance. One of my friend who I have known at the Villa Decoration Forum(a very famous forum in China called Liba) has kindly reminded me not to consider the Electrolux as the choice as she is very unsatisfied with the after-sales service. I just have smiled over and did not put her words on the heart and unfortunately finally bought Elextrolux range hood filter and Sterilizer. Till Today, I was so regretted for not hearing my friend’s advice. Please let me share what I have encountered with you:
May 4 or May 5 I have called Elextrolux for the appointment to install the appearances I have bought. Elextrolux did not give me the appointment date directly and just replied me
someone will contact me in the next two days.
May 7 I have received the call for the confirmation date on May 8 for the installation from the worker.
May 8 The worker did not come as appointed till I call to Elextrolux and the worker finally came at 6pm.
He has installed the filter and explained that the stainless steel smoke pipe is not long enough as my house is villa with high ceiling. Then he continued
Elextrolux could provide the extension pipe but need to charge CNY 250 and requested me to pay right away. I paid it and questioned when can I get it ready, he
Replied one week. Next Saturday (Sat 15) must be ok. So I have confirmed with him to come next Saturday.
May 15 One week past, I didn’t received any service follow-up call from Elextrolux and the worker did not come as promised. I call the service center, what they
Do is just record what has happen and no any feedback. I called again and again, finally received one call from Elextrolux Shanghai to explain that worker has
resigned this Wednesday and said will arrange another worker to fix it.
May 22 I use another week to wait for the feedback, no result. I called service center 95105901 three times that day with no feed back. I finally find out the another worker’s cell phone and called him why he did not come. He said he forgot it. OK, have made the appointment day on Tuesday, May 25.
May 25 Tuesday noon, I called the worker again why he has not yet arrived. He replied I lived very faraway from your house, you know today I could not install the extension
pipe for you, as you know I need to have the size first., could you please to measure it for me? What a joke! I called service center again for the complain and till third time I received the call from Electronics CS person Ms. Shi that she is sorry about it and she will arrange the worker to come. I serious told Ms. Shi as I have requested to Service center I need the serious apology from the Electrolux management team at least CS manager to give me the reason. NO call from the management team at all. My father waited the worker till 6:30pm and he was also be irritated as the worker did not know anything, ever he did not know how to measure. My father has asked him you come for what if you don’t know anything, they worker replied I told elextrolux I don’t know, but they insist requesting me to come.
May 26 One day past, no feedback from the service center as well. I feel so helpless.
Mr. Straberg, as a normal consumer, how can we accept the terrible service like this. Electrolux, as a professional household appliances producer, has build up its brand in China and gained the recognition from the Chinese consumers. But I really wish it will not be destroyed in the hands of their management and after-sales service in China. You know China is the strategic place for every multi-national companies. I don’t think Electrolux will be an exception.
Mr. Straberg, writing to you is not simply as complain, as a HR professional, I am absolutely disappointed at the professionalism of the team in China. I even could not understand what will be the base stone for Eletrolux if they are ignoring their customers, especially in today’s competitive and transparent market.
